‘This is a print of the original painting ‘Dolly’ was inspired by the glow of the late summer sun. I have been a photographer for so long and I spent many evenings in golden hour and driving home as I watched the sunset over the Arkansas mountains. I just love that warm golden glow.
If you’ve followed me for a while you know I even love taking photos in fields and greenery (especially flowers). This painting has warmer soft faded tones…this is how Iate summer feels to me.
I named her Dolly because Dolly passed right as I was finishing this and out of this collection she feels the most ‘Dolly.’ Dolly has been an inspiration of mine for many many years. I hope to exude the kindness she has.’
